In the mid-1800′s, this building of native timber and stone served the needs of California gold miners. Today it is a one-of-a-kind venue for weddings, events, meetings or conferences. Located in the heart of downtown Nevada City, California, Miners Foundry retains the character of gold rush days with its rough hewn beams, heavy metal doors, antique fixtures and furnishings.
The Miners Foundry has long been a supporter of the Nevada City School of the Arts and we are most appreciative!

The Union is is one of the oldest daily newspapers in California. It was founded in 1864, as the Civil War raged and people in Nevada County were divided. The Union made its stand clear: “For The Union, One and Inseparable.” Those words have appeared on its front page every day since then. Today, six days a week, more than 17,000 copies of The Union are distributed. Most of the readers of The Union live in western Nevada County, but some people who live as far away as the East Coast subscribe to keep in touch.
Thank you The Union! We appreciate your support.

School of the Arts Educational Foundation, SAEF, is a nonprofit public benefit corporation organized to support and enhance the art and academic experience of the students at NCSA. Funds for this purpose are raised through various campaigns, special events and grants, with A Matter of Taste being its signature fundraiser. SAEF is a critical organization for NCSA and its hardworking, all volunteer board of directors is a reflection of the commitment our parents have to making NCSA a great school.
