Miners Foundry Logo

In the mid-1800′s, this building of native timber and stone served the needs of California gold miners. Today it is a one-of-a-kind venue for weddings, events, meetings or conferences. Located in the heart of downtown Nevada City, California, Miners Foundry retains the character of gold rush days with its rough hewn beams, heavy metal doors, antique fixtures and furnishings.

The Miners Foundry has long been a supporter of the Nevada City School of the Arts and we are most appreciative!

Union logoCelebrating their 150th Anniversary in 2014, The Union is one of the oldest daily newspapers in California. Founded in 1864, as the Civil War raged and people in Nevada County were divided. The Union made its stand clear: “For The Union, One and Inseparable.” Those words have appeared on its front page every day since then. Today, in addition to providing the newspaper six days a week, they are online (www.theunion.com), sponsor many non-profit organizations, produce events, and provide high quality commercial printing at discounted rates to our community.

Thank you The Union! We appreciate your support.
