Savor Gourmet Food An abundance of delicious and beautifully prepared hors d’oeuvres are served throughout the silent auction, with sweets and coffee to end the evening.
Wine Tasting & Beverages Local and regional wineries provide wine for tasting from 6 to 7:30. The no-host bar features an assortment of beers from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. as well as fine wines and non-alcoholic beverages. Please remember to designate a driver. Cab service will be available at the end of the evening.
Bring Home Treasures Local and regional businesses generously donate hundreds of wonderful auction items to our silent auction, and our live auction offers plenty of excitement. Auctioneers Holly Pettitt and Julie Baker are back again this year to keep the bidding lively! Check out the Auction Item page for an up-to-date list of all items.
Be Merry Enjoy the beautiful music of Nevada City School of the Arts own talent. NCSA music teacher and parent Heather Grove along with parent Odile Meister will provide music throughout the silent auction. Following the live auction, dance in the Stone Hall to the tunes of DJ Robin, another NCSA parent.
All in the name of Education While you enjoy the food, drink, music, and auction, take comfort knowing that the spirit of generosity that supports A Matter of Taste, also supports the unique programs that make the Nevada City School of the Arts the extraordinary school that it is.
