The Event

Savor Gourmet Food
An abundance of delicious hors d’oeuvres are beautifully prepared by Angelica Baltz, of Angelica’s Catering, and served throughout the silent auction. Sweets, coffee and tea end the evening.  Guests at last year’s AMOT were delighted with the beauty, abundance and taste of the delectable food prepared fresh by Angelica and her team; we are fortunate to have her back again this year and look forward to seeing, and tasting, the delights she will prepare for us!

Beverages
Enjoy your complimentary glass of wine and visit the no-host bar featuring an assortment of beers as well as fine wines and non-alcoholic beverages. Please remember to designate a driver. Non-alcoholic beverages are free. Cab service will be available at the end of the evening.

Bring Home Treasures
Local and regional businesses generously donate hundreds of wonderful auction items to our silent auction.  Check out the Auction Item page for an up-to-date list of all items, and the Donate page to contribute an auction item.

Be Merry
Enjoy the beautiful music of Nevada City School of the Arts own talent. NCSA music teacher and parent Heather Grove will provide music throughout the silent auction.  Following the live auction, dance in the Stone Hall to the tunes of  Brian Hartman, NCSA’s own middle school teacher and renowned DJ.

All in the name of Education
While you enjoy the food, drink, music, and auction, take comfort knowing that the spirit of generosity that supports A Matter of Taste, also supports the unique programs that make the Nevada City School of the Arts the extraordinary school that it is.

If you are unable to attend this event, but would like to make a tax deductible donation, you can do this online by visiting our Nevada City School of the Arts website.
